Happy belated holidays to everyone! I've been really ill with flu for most of the holidays and so my outfits (or rants) haven't been seeing much daylight! I'm better now though, and enjoying the new year in Yorkshire for a few days.
This crushed velvet skirt in red was a score from Primark in the sales for £3. I find their minis surprisingly stretchy, so always worth a try if you're a 20/22. That said, this is maybe a tad too short for me!
Plaid shirt, boyfriend's, borrowed for £free
Cami, Primark, £4
Skirt, Primark £3
Tights, M&S £8
Socks, Primark £1
Brown docs, gifted for Christmas! And they are never leaving my feet...
I will be catching up and posting more again soon! Sorry for any unreplied emails x

i just foud your blog and - yes - i love you!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the hunt for a velvet skirt! It looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this would be a good time to say that I've been reading your blog for a while and really enjoy it, especially the posts about your family and your work. Outfits too, of course, and since I wear clunky black glasses myself, I like those as well.
ReplyDeleteOooh I might try and find a velvet skirt in Primark myself.
ReplyDeleteI got an amazing shrug/cardi thing there the other day, it was black and had stags all over it. I didn't know that they now go up to size 20, I was so happy!

Thomessa - me too! I couldn't believe these when I found them for so little after so long looking!
ReplyDeleteFrowner - thank you! Black chunky glasses = the best.
Gem - I didn't know they went up to a 20 now?! More time spent there may now occur, oh dear. That shrug sounds amazing! And the velvet skirts seem to be on sale everywhere, I've seen lots. There's a nice skater style one too, but never seems to be available in above a size 12 :(
i love your outfit posts!
