A/W

Time for another somewhat haphazard Polyvore post! There are loads of seriously amazing and fierce pieces floating around online at the minute, so I thought I'd share my favourites with you! You can probably tell, but this season I'm really into looking a bit tougher but still with a femme edge. I already own a couple of these pieces (the bandeau, docs, a similar leather jacket and the blue skirt), so you'll be seeing them in outfit posts soon enough, and the others are on my wishlist for the time being.

Dr Martens 1460 8 holes in patent black - found online here
ASOS Curve leather jacket - found online here
Velvet bandeau top by Chubby Cartwheels - found online here
Metallic silver dress by Lovedrobe - found online here
Inspire galaxy print leggings - found online here
ASOS curve flippy flower skirt - found online here
ASOS curve obi belt - found online here
Domino Dollhouse Pin Up Perfection pencil skirt - found online here

Spring Summer 2012

Spring might not have really hit Yorkshire yet, but I've still been plotting ideas for what I'd like to wear when it warms up. I had a nosey on etsy at my favourites this morning, and put this board together on polyvore for you all. These are all plus size friendly (mostly custom) pieces. I'm particularly looking to buy the custom bike shorts soon as I'm now cycling to work everyday and would like a little less, er, exposure when cycling in skirts! Also, they look great for chub rub prevention on long hot days.

Second hand December

So this month I'm poor. Poor poor poor. I really can't be buying anything, however I appreciate this is a bit of an impossibility given it's Christmas and the month of shopping. However, I'm going to curb myself in and concentrate on spending on others instead.

For all of December, as such, I'm only allowed to buy second hand clothes. I'm also going to place a £10 maximum on any one item to stop me heading to vintage shops, which are equally capable of bankrupting me. Hopefully this will encourage me to a) make some stuff, b) be more inventive and c) not be penniless quite as quickly this month!

In any case, I've talked about it now, so I have to do it... I hope?

Also, this is not going to be easy. On top of these velvet shorts, and these pinstripe shorts, both from ASOS and crying to be on my hips, I've just spotted this beaut at tesco (which goes up to a 22! ARGH):

Buy it here for £25, but don't tell me if you do, or I will have to come tear it off your back :P
